President Ruto is presiding over the 98th Kenya Music Festival State Concert in Bungoma County, marking the culmination of a festival that brought together 143,000 students from across the country.

The festival, which has been held at Kibabii University since August 1, is themed “Enhancing the Creative Economy Through Knowledge, Skills and Artistic Production for Sustainable Development.”

The Head of State is accompanied by First Lady Rachel Ruto, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, Education CS Julius Migos, Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka and other government officials.

The Kenya Music Festival has brought together learners from across the country to showcase their musical talents, creativity and artistic abilities.

The event highlights the growing role of music and the wider creative economy in Kenya’s sustainable development, while providing young people with a platform to nurture and showcase their talents.

The State Concert marks the culmination of this year’s festival, which has attracted thousands of students and participants from different parts of the country.
