Tensions are rising within the Democratic Change Party (DCP) as Kirinyaga Woman Representative Hon. Njeri Maina Gacheri has publicly accused the party’s Deputy Leader Cleo Malalah of secretly meeting with Members of County Assembly (MCAs) aligned with Governor Anne Waiguru.
According to Njeri Maina Gacheri, the alleged meeting took place at Golden Palm Hotel in Kenol between 8 PM and 10 PM yesterday. During the meeting, Malalah is claimed to have handed Ksh 20,000 to each MCA, with the intention of mobilizing them against party leaders she described as “Gachagua’s foot soldiers’.
